DIVE INTO ECONOMIC DATA RESOURCES
One of CCEP’s core goals is enhancing the economic vitality of Contra Costa County. Key to this success is not simply tracking data, but investing in data-driven decision-making to shape fiscal policy, workforce development initiatives, business strategies, infrastructure planning, and more.
To support Contra Costa businesses, nonprofits, agencies, and government entities, CCEP has gathered essential economic data—including demographic, unemployment, industry, occupation, wage, diversity, housing, and commute trends—through JobsEQ.
ENGAGE WITH OUR HEALTH WORKFORCE INITIATIVE
In partnership with the Workforce Development Board of Contra Costa County, the Bay Area Health Workforce Partnership, and industry experts, CCEP is leading efforts to expand equitable access to healthcare careers. This initiative builds a pipeline of skilled, diverse professionals in Emergency Medical Services and beyond.
Healthcare is a growing industry with strong job stability and career advancement opportunities. By expanding training programs and apprenticeship pathways, this effort strengthens the local workforce while improving access to quality, culturally competent care in Contra Costa County.
GET MATCHED TO A NONPROFIT BOARD
At CCEP we believe that engaged communities are thriving communities. We also know that nonprofit organizations are essential to addressing the most pressing issues facing the East Bay.
Yet many nonprofits struggle to recruit the board members they need to move their mission and our communities forward.
That’s why we founded Engage East Bay in 2022 alongside the East Bay Leadership Council with the goal of matching local leaders ready to make a difference with nonprofits seeking new board members.
